Job Overview

Responsibility for the roadmap in the area of test engineering, ensuring the process stability of all individual processes from process development through to the realization and commissioning of process systems to safeguard production at the site.

 

  • Responsibility for the development of new production processes; conceptualization and specification of new production processes
  • Responsible for the process stability (SPC, APC, FDC) of all individual processes within the test area (electrical test, laser trimming, inking)
  • Disciplinary and technical management of the assigned employees
  • Responsibility and design of the investment roadmap and the implementation of investment projects in the area in close coordination with the Head of Operations and the Plant Manager
  • Responsible for managing the implementation of investment projects in the division (on time, in scope, in budget)
  • Independent analysis of problems occurring within the production processes and development and implementation of corrective measures
  • Close cooperation with the Technology department to increase process stability 
  • Responsible for compliance with legal requirements in the individual processes (e.g. machine guidelines, operational safety regulations, etc.)
  • Creation of reports and analyses for the long-term optimization of production processes
  • Budget responsibility in accordance with guidelines
  • Prioritization of tasks in consideration of departmental goals and specifications

What your background should look like:

  • Completed studies in the technical field (chemistry, physics, electrical engineering, microsystems technology)
  • At least 8 years of experience in metrological characterization within semiconductor production with in-depth specialist knowledge in several individual process areas
  • Leadership experience
  • Methodological competence 8-D problem solving, Lean Six Sigma, DoE, FMEA, quality management, software tools for data analysis
  • Very good MS Office knowledge
  • Fluent written and spoken English skills
  • Very good communication skills
  • Very good comprehension and analytical skills, independent and structured way of working
  • Ability to delegate, flexibility, assertiveness
