Job Overview

TE's Talent Acquisition teams evaluate TE's ability to recruit and select the desired employees and develop, implement and monitor the programs and processes used in recruitment and selection. They source, recruit, screen, interview and recommend external and/or internal candidates to staff open requisitions. They also utilize the services of employment agencies and/or place employment ads in appropriate sources, including the intranet, Internet and print media.
The teams are responsible for developing and implementing recruiting plans and administering talent management efforts and employee referral programs, managing the resume tracking system and ensuring consistent corporate image throughout recruiting campaigns.

What your background should look like:

PRIMARY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Key duties include but not limited to sourcing external talent for engineering and other functional areas across TE partnering with the business to meet the goals and metrics for the team.  
2. You will be running your day-to-day priorities including management of difficult to fill, senior level and high profile positions for special projects.
3. Leveraging the power of talent market intelligence/research to drive strategic, effective and diverse candidate pipelines and recruitment strategies. 
4. Cultivating relationships with key candidates and specific talent pools, defined according to long-term initiatives and direction of the organization; turn applicants from non-active to active by developing strong candidate relationships. 
5. Conducting independent sourcing via social recruiting, networking, job postings, cold calls, Google X-Ray, advanced Boolean search strings, niche boards, etc.  
6. Partnering with relationship managers to understand hiring needs and developing targeted sourcing strategies and pipeline development.
7. Participate on intake calls, screening/assessing, interviewing, preparing and extending offers, i.e. compensation negotiation, debriefs.

Required Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
2. Demonstrated experience using applicant tracking systems
3. 3+ years of experience in sourcing diverse, technical talent across various functions
4. Demonstrated social media presence with extensive networking capabilities 
5. Previous experience working for an Industrial Technology and Manufacturing organization preferred
6. Experience recruiting for different functional areas such as Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Sales, Product, General Management, Strategy, etc, preferred
7. Fluent English and Japanese language skills
